Joe's Garage LLC
I took in my car because there was an obscure brushing noise coming from the engine. Joe's was able to hypothesize a broken water pump, although they couldn't see it because it was hidden in the engine below the timing belt. After I authorized the work, they took the engine apart and found that the water pump was indeed broken. Although replacing the water pump was a five-hour job, I had the car back by the next day - a Friday. The water pump had been replaced, a new timing belt installed, a couple of worn belts replaced, fluids topped up, etc. The car ran like new. Here's the unbelievable part. When Joe's updated their records, they found that they'd replaced the timing belt less than two years earlier, so it was still under warranty. The total bill came to $2,100, but I was only charged $300 because of the warranty. I'm a 72-year-old woman who knows very little about cars. There's no way in the world I ever would have thought about a warranty if Joe's hadn't told me. Joe's has been my mechanic ever since I moved to Eugene 15 years ago. In all that time, there's never been the slightest question about the quality of their diagnosis or repair work. Today's experience adds proof as to their integrity. Who you gonna trust? Joe's Garage!
