I took my vehicle in for an oil change last week and when I picked it up the "courtesy check" notes said "transmission is getting dark and smells burnt". I questioned this observation since Joe's performed a "auto transmission fluid drain and refill 4 months prior, in July 2016. Also, when reviewing the invoice from July22, 2016 I noticed that the cabin air filter had been removed and replaced. That filter was replaced at a different garage approximately 1300 miles prior to that date, in 2015. I understand that Joe's may not have known about that previous replacement but it seems that upon inspection of that filter, it should have been obvious that I did not need a new filter. I do not drive on anything but city streets and the freeway. I'm pretty disappointed that it appears that services are suggested, that don't seem to be warranted. I will think twice about returning.
